Newsweek’s 2026 “America’s Best Continuing Care Retirement Communities” list includes 38 LCS Communities

Thirty-eight LCS communities have been named to Newsweek’s “America‘s Best Continuing Care Retirement Communities 2026” list. The prestigious award includes the top 300 Continuing Care Retirement Communities (CCRCs) in the nation as presented by Newsweek and Statista Inc., the world-leading statistics portal and industry ranking provider.

CCRCs offer a continuum of long-term care options, allowing residents to access higher-level care when medical needs progress. The communities typically include Independent Living, Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing Care, and Memory Care.  With a wide array of services, CCRCs are an increasingly attractive option for retirees.
