Ashley Wade Receives McKnight’s Women of Distinction Veteran VIP Award
Mar 01 2026LCS and Broadview Senior Living at Purchase College are proud to announce that Ashley Wade, Executive Director, has received a Veteran VIP honor as part of the 2026 McKnight’s Women of Distinction awards. The Veteran VIP category recognizes professionals with more than 15 years of experience who are making a meaningful impact on the senior living industry.
Wade has more than 25 years of senior living experience and is widely recognized for her ability to guide communities through growth, transformation, and operational success. She currently leads Broadview Senior Living at Purchase College, a $398 million university-affiliated Life Plan Community, where she oversees all strategic, financial, and operational aspects of the community, including a $29 million annual budget, more than 160 employees, and services for more than 330 residents. Under her leadership, Broadview reached 90% occupancy within six months, exceeding first-year revenue targets.
Broadview’s innovative university-based model and early success have attracted national attention, including coverage in major media outlets and a PBS documentary highlighting its intergenerational approach where residents live alongside college students, participate in academic life, and mentor future professionals.
Wade began her career in skilled nursing, where she developed a deep commitment to serving older adults with dignity and compassion—values that continue to guide her leadership today.
She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Diplomacy from Miami University.
Wade and other honorees will be celebrated May 4, 2026, during the in-person 2026 McKnight’s Women of Distinction gala ceremony in Chicago. To learn more about the McKnight’s Women of Distinction award honorees, visit the McKnight’s Senior Living website.
