LCS Welcomes 27 Corporate and Community Interns

LCS is excited to welcome 27 interns to its 2026 Summer internship program. Students from universities across the country will gain hands-on experience across LCS community and corporate teams. 

“Our internship program is designed to provide real-world experience that inspires innovation, purpose and long-term career growth within the senior living industry,” said Monica Friedman, EVP/Chief Human Resources Officer. “We are thrilled to welcome this year’s interns to the LCS team and look forward to the impact they will make this summer and throughout their careers.” 

LCS’ robust internship program includes professional development opportunities, a visit to an LCS community, and the opportunity for interns to present their summer projects and insights to senior leaders. 

LCS Community Interns 

Six interns will acquire practical experience within community operations.  In their roles, they will develop a stronger understanding of operations and healthcare management.  The 2026 community-based interns are:  

LCS Corporate Interns 

An additional 21 interns will be based at the LCS home office in Des Moines, Iowa, where they will gain hands-on experience with corporate teams through projects aligned with their academic and career goals. These interns will be supporting a variety of corporate departments:

Marketing & Communications: 

Procurement:
