LCS and Candid Collaborate to Refine Senior Living Resident Feedback

Jun 01 2026

LCS has launched a pilot partnership with Candid (formerly MemoMate), an AI-powered communication platform for senior living operators designed to modernize how resident feedback is captured and acted on across its various communities.

The pilot program is designed to create a more continuous and responsive feedback experience by enabling residents to share insights through accessible phone-based surveys. Instead of waiting weeks for traditional survey results or relying on a single point-in-time snapshot, operators have immediate access to insights within seconds, including both scores and qualitative feedback.

Each quarter of the pilot has focused on a different operational topic - In the first quarter alone, the initiative generated more than 1,000 resident responses related to dining across 61 participating communities.

“Resident feedback plays a critical role in helping us continuously enhance the experience we provide,” said Pierce Carey, Executive Director, Porters Neck Village. “Residents have found the platform intuitive and easy to use, and the dashboard and real-time insights have provided actionable feedback that helps support continuous improvement efforts within our community.”

The collaboration reflects LCS’ focus on investing in AI-enabled tools that improve responsiveness, consistency, and operational performance. As LCS continues exploring innovative approaches to resident engagement, the pilot is another step toward leveraging technology to better understand and respond to resident needs.

“Candid was founded to address a longstanding challenge in senior living: important resident insights are often delayed, fragmented or never captured at all,” said Raphael Rubens, Candid’s founder. “We’re building the infrastructure layer, so senior living operators understand what’s happening across their communities in real time.”
