LCS is proud to announce it has earned top honors in the 2025 McKnight’s Excellence in Technology Awards, recognizing the organization’s commitment to innovation and its continued leadership in the senior living industry. The awards event honors and recognizes the innovative use of technology to improve the overall care and operations in their organizations.

“We are honored to receive this recognition from McKnight’s, which reflects the incredible innovation happening across our company,” said Frank Vedder, LCS SVP/Chief Information Officer. “These projects are not only transforming the way we operate, but they’re also making a real difference in how we serve seniors every day. To see our technology initiatives both recognized and creating meaningful impact in the industry is deeply rewarding.”

The winning projects include:

SILVER & BRONZE Awards:

  • LCS Insight AdvantageTM was recognized in both the Innovator of the Year and Home Grown Technology categories – receiving respective Bronze and Silver awards. Launched in 2024, LCS Insight Advantage is a custom reporting solution that exemplifies technological innovation by integrating advanced tools to transform senior living analytics. The system has revolutionized decision-making and operational efficiency by providing leadership with real-time, accurate reporting that previously took weeks to compile manually across disparate systems.

GOLD Awards:

  • In the Emerging Technology category, The Forum at Rancho San Antonio, received a Gold award for its “NEURVESTA Vestibular Stimulation Therapy for Restoring Balance” project. The non-invasive electrical vestibular stimulation treatment protocol, helps restore degraded vestibular function. Neursantys worked with the Forum to launch the first US pilot study of the protocol.
  • The Forum also achieved Gold in the Falls Prevention, Management or Detection category for its “Non-invasive Vestibular Stimulation Therapy for Balance Recovery” entry. The program was the first broadly applicable, non-invasive electrical vestibular stimulation treatment protocol to help restore degraded vestibular function, with effects lasting for 6 to 12 months. The technology increases vestibular function, improves standing balance and gait and reduces the risk of falls.

“Our external judges and everyone at McKnight’s continue to be impressed by how skilled nursing, senior living and home care providers are using technology to improve operations and care,” McKnight’s Vice President, Associate Publisher and Editorial Director John O’Connor said. “Those efforts are leading to increased efficiency and satisfaction for staff members and the older adults they care for, as well as a healthier bottom line. We’re gratified to be able to recognize them through the McKnight’s Excellence in Technology Awards program.”
