LCS Promotes Wendy Rus to Chief Accounting Officer

LCS has announced the promotion of Wendy Rus to the newly created role of Chief Accounting Officer.   

In her new role, Rus will oversee Accounting, Reporting and Audit functions for communities, the Finance Transformation Office, and Corporate Planning and Reporting activities for LCS and all business lines. She will be responsible for ensuring LCS’s finance structure is strategically aligned to support the organization’s expanding portfolio while improving operational efficiency, strengthening collaboration, and leveraging technology, data, and innovation across the business.

Since joining LCS in 1998, Rus has held roles of increasing responsibility, helping guide the organization through periods of significant growth and change. Her strategic leadership, strong focus on employee engagement, and commitment to continuous improvement have made a lasting impact on both employees and the communities LCS serves. 

At LCS, Wendy serves on the Enterprise Risk Management Committee, is the executive sponsor for the Young Professionals Employee Resource Group and was the co-chair for the 2023 LCS Leadership Summit. Outside of the company, she serves on the United Way Women United Investment Committee, the Alzheimer’s Association Iowa Purple Soiree Committee, and the Argentum CFO Roundtable. Rus holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and business administration from Graceland University
