Lesley Vogels joins LCS as National Director of Business Development

LCS, the nation’s third-largest senior living provider, is pleased to announce that Lesley Vogels has joined the company as National Director of Business Development. In her new role, Vogels will join David Mercugliano, LCS Vice President of National Business Development, to focus on opportunities and initiatives to support the LCS Family of Companies. 

“I am thrilled to add Lesley to the LCS team,” said Mercugliano. “Her passion for the senior living industry and deep understanding of the rapidly changing healthcare and aging services landscape will help our communities seize new opportunities that help them thrive, grow, and care for our residents.”

Vogels brings 28 years of sales, clinical, and strategy experience to her role. Her career has focused on identifying growth, revenue, and operational success strategies related to wellness, engagement, care coordination, and population health. Vogels unique experience has been garnered from her past roles as vice president of sales for a national therapy firm, census occupancy outcomes specialist (SNF, AL, IL, CCRC), and various leadership positions in post-acute settings as a physical therapist, geriatric clinical specialist, therapy operations manager and regulatory/Medicare consultant.

Vogel earned her bachelor’s degree in physical therapy from the University of Florida and is board-certified as a geriatric clinical specialist.
