LCS Strengthens Commitment to Veterans Through ESGR Partnership

LCS is proud to announce its commitment to supporting veterans, service members and military-connected employees through a signed Statement of Support with Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), a Department of Defense organization dedicated to strengthening relationships between military service members and their civilian employers. 

The commitment reflects LCS’ ongoing dedication to fostering an inclusive and supportive workplace where veterans, members of the National Guard and Reserve, and their allies feel valued, respected and empowered to succeed. 

“We are proud to formalize our commitment through ESGR and resources like our Veterans Employee Resource Group to provide support, foster connections and help ensure our employees know they are valued,” said Monica Friedman, Executive Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer. “We recognize the contributions of those who serve and are committed to supporting them both in their military service and in their careers at LCS.”

ESGR promotes cooperation and understanding between civilian employers and members of the National Guard and Reserve. Through education, guidance and support, ESGR helps employers and service members navigate the unique responsibilities of military service and civilian employment. 

LCS’ Veterans Employee Resource Group (ERG) further supports this commitment by providing a community for veterans, military-connected employees and allies to connect, share experiences and access resources. The ERG helps strengthen awareness, encourage belonging and recognize the valuable perspectives and contributions veterans bring to the organization.

ESGR representatives, Eric Branson, Employer Outreach Director, and Rebecca Coady, State Chair, spoke at the event. “The statement of support states that you (LCS) appreciate the values, leadership and unique skills service members bring to the workforce and will encourage the opportunities to employ guardsman, reservists, transitioning service members and veterans,” said Coady. “LCS is doing that now and will in the future, and we are excited to make this partnership official.”
