LCS Development Celebrates Topping Out Milestone for Greenwood Village South Expansion

LCS Development and Greenwood Village South, a vibrant not-for-profit Life Plan senior living community in Greenwood, Indiana, recently celebrated the topping out of a significant expansion project that will add 42 new independent living apartments and 27,000 square feet of new commons and amenity space. 

Community leaders were joined by residents and project partners on June 12, 2026, to commemorate the event that included the opportunity for attendees to sign the final roof panel before it was placed.

Once complete, the expansion will introduce three new Village Flats residential buildings, a new Village Commons amenity center including an aquatic center, performing arts center, enhanced dining venues, gathering spaces, and beautifully landscaped outdoor areas designed to support connection, wellness, and lifelong engagement.

“The topping out of the first Village Flats building marks an important milestone for the entire project team and community,” said Ted Bolles, Project Development Manager, LCS Development. “As the first of three Village Flats buildings to reach this stage, this achievement reflects the tremendous collaboration, dedication, and craftsmanship that have gone into the project so far. We are eager to continue construction progress and ultimately welcome residents in 2027.”
